Greta Andrews

Hi, I’m Greta.

After taking two gap years to explore my interests, I chose to pursue a creative path in Interior Design, and I’m so glad I did. Studying at CIT has deepened my understanding of design as both an art form and a problem-solving process. From the initial concept to the final presentation, I’ve learned that successful design is about creating purposeful, functional spaces that go beyond aesthetics or material selection.

Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both technical and creative skills. I’m proficient in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, which allow me to bring my ideas to life through digital modelling, rendering, and presentation. Alongside these, I’ve refined soft skills such as spatial planning, concept development, material and mood board layout, technical drawing, and hand rendering, all essential tools for communicating and executing thoughtful design solutions.

When people ask if I’ve “found my style,” I like to think I’m still discovering it , and that’s what excites me most about design. It’s a field that invites exploration of bold colours, playful forms, and innovative ideas, balanced with simplicity and function. I’m eager to continue growing as a designer and look forward to seeing where my creative journey takes me next.
