Where I see myself in the design industry:
As an arts major in South Korea, my interest originally centred around theatre and film, which included the design and construction of stages and film sets. This allowed me to discover a passion for creating designs that challenge and push the boundaries of built environments. Upon completing my studies, I spent time abroad and found an outlet for my new passion here in Canberra.
Throughout my interior design studies, I learnt the processes of conceptual design, meeting client briefs, and the execution of technical and visually appealing drawings using industry design tools such as Revit, Sketchup and Autocad. The techniques I have learnt can be used in real world application and the design industry where I hope to produce concepts and detailed design documentation of interior spaces in impactful projects.
